One of the most important things you need to do in your oral health routine is to visit your dentist. You should floss every evening, as you’d be surprised at how much plaque and food particles can get stuck between the teeth. If these aren’t removed, it can cause teeth to decay over time and eventually, lead to tooth loss in some cases. So, flossing is something that takes just a minute to do but it can be really helpful for your oral health.

Drink Plenty of Water

The most simple thing you can do to help your oral health is to drink plenty of water! Drinking water helps to wash away some of the food and sugar residue from the mouth, reducing the chance for plaque to build. This definitely doesn’t replace the need for flossing or brushing, but can help to keep your mouth healthier throughout the day between brushes. Aim to drink a glass of water at least after every meal or snack!
